Commissions

Commissions are one of a kind, unique pieces that I love creating.

If you’re interested but not sure where to start..Here’s how it works:

DESIGN

Email me at: hello@jenniferlia.com with the following:

-Size

-Medium (canvas or paper)

-Colour specifications

-Reference and inspiration photos for theme, colour or general look and feel.

PROCESS

Once you’ve emailed through the above I will send through a few initial sketches to ensure we are on the same page. Once agreed to go ahead I will send you progress pics as I work on your piece to to ensure you’re happy with the direction as we go.

A maximum of 2 amendments will be made to your piece prior to completion.

PAYMENT

50% deposit will be due upon agreement (non-refundable) and a final payment of the 50% balance will be due on completion of piece and prior to delivery.

TIMELINE

2-4 week turn around depending on the size of the piece.

SHIPPING

Shipping or delivery cost will be billed at completion. You’re welcome to pick up the painting from my studio (Manly, Sydney).

Print process

The word ‘Giclée’ describes 'the spraying of paint' involved in plate-less printing to create fine art prints. Employing up to an 11-colour process this state-of-the-art technology can produce consistent and affordable prints of the highest quality. A giclée print is simply the closest duplication of an original artwork that is technically possible.

The result is sublime colour saturation and premium museum quality which when cared for properly can last more than 100 years.

All prints are made to order with a fine white handling border and signed.

Definitions

Giclée paper print - High quality digital fine art reproduction on 100% cotton photo rag paper.

Giclée canvas roll print - High quality digital fine art reproduction on 100% cotton canvas. A fine white handling border is included for framing.

Giclée print on canvas and mounted on wooden frame (Domestic only)- High quality digital fine art reproduction on 100% cotton canvas, 32mm gallery wrap edge, wired and ready to hang! Canvas prints mounted on wooden frame are only available for domestic order's only. If you are an international customer or are sending OS your best option is to order a canvas roll print and take it to a framer for mounting.

Canvas roll and paper prints are sent wrapped in protective paper and shipped in sturdy tube. Mounted Canvas (Domestic order's only) are packed with protective cardboard and mailed in sturdy carton.

Paper Quality

Canson Infinity Edition Etching Rag is used for all paper prints.

100% cotton rag fine art paper with a creamy smooth texture and the purest white tone available on the market. Edition Etching Rag is reminiscent of the original genuine etching and print making papers. It provides deep blacks, excellent image sharpness and optimum colour graduation. The slight grain of this paper makes it ideal for printing detailed work and vibrant colour artworks. It's acid free, contains no optical brightening agents and is designed to meet galleries and museum longevity requirements to ensure consistency of shades for generations.

Canvas Quality

Canson MuseumArt Canvas is used for all Canvas prints.

A premium acid free canvas with a pure white tone that has been specially developed for professionals who demand a product capable of producing precise images with very high resolution. In addition to offering outstanding water resistance, this canvas stretches and mounts with ease. This OBA-free archival canvas is capable of producing extremely precise images with very high resolution on a reflective-free surface. The canvas will not yellow, crack or curl and is perfect for fine art reproduction and demanding giclée requirements.

Shipping

Costs vary upon location. All shipping is standard mail and charges are calculated at checkout.

Print Time

Giclée paper print time: 2-3 business days.

Giclée canvas print time: 7 business days.

Please allow approx 2 weeks for the delivery of your order (domestic) as every print is made to order and goes by standard mail.

Sizes

Sizes offered for rag paper prints are the full trimmed size including white border for framing. Sizes offered for stretched canvas are the finished/stretched size. Print size guide below:

Framing

Best to wait for your print to arrive prior to purchasing a frame and mat to ensure that you have the right size you need. For smaller size prints you can buy a ready made frame that's larger than your print and have a custom made mat created by a framer for you. Framing options are available from my expert framers - please email hello@jenniferlia.com for specifications and quotes.

Returns

All sales are final. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 5 business days from the date of purchase to contact me to arrange an exchange of equal or greater value. Photos of the work are as accurate as possible, but please note that colours may differ slightly from monitor to monitor. I am more than happy to send additional photos of the work to help decide if it is the right piece for you. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to shoot me through an email.
